NNPC Foundation Donates 10 CNG Buses to DAPPMAN Initiative In its continued efforts to support the Federal Government's drive towards deepening Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) utilisation nationwide, the NNPC Ltd, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, NNPC Foundation, has donated 10 CNG buses to cushion the effects of transportation on Nigerians. FG Announces Five Airports To Be Reopened By June 21 - Travel

IgbereTV reports that the Federal Government has announced that only five airports will be reopened when flight operations resume on Saturday, June 21. A circular released by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), shows that the domestic airports that will be opened include Omagwa International Airport Port Harcourt, Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja, Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos, Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri, and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport Kano. The circular also revealed that asides the five selected airports, all others are to remain closed for further assessment. Also, it stated Nigeria’s airspace remains closed to international flights. EFCC Arrests 280 Suspects In Kano -Mr Akaninyene EFCC Arrests 280 Suspects In Kano -Mr Akaninyene The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC ) has arrested no fewer than 280 suspects for various crimes in Kano State between January and August this year. ‘Boko Haram has not been defeated’ — Borno Residents  Boko Haram  Residents of Borno say they have lost confidence in the military over the lingering Boko Haram crisis.  In an open letter signed by Hassan Boguma, a traditional ruler, the residents accused the military of not doing enough, saying Boko Haram now attacks without any countermeasure.  The letter comes after Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno state, blamed the military over recent attacks on Gubio and Magumeri local government areas in the state.
